IGEO at Tyumen Oil & Gas Forum
The IGEO company took part in a key event – Tyumen Oil & Gas Innovation Forum. The forum was held in Tyumen Russia from 21 to 22 September and welcomed over 1000 participants from 80 cities and 16 countries.
Sergey Kurkov, CEO, delivered a presentation on ‘Seismic sensors for low-frequency seismic exploration: prospects of use’ at the discussion on ‘Innovations in geological exploration and estimation of hydrocarbons reserves’. The discussion was moderated by Yury Tsimbalyuk, deputy general director of West-Siberia research institute of geology and geophysics – that institute reports to Federal agency for natural resources of Russia.
During the time of the forum oilfield services companies and research enterprises showed interest to the IGEO sensors. As a result of the forum, negotiations with potential customers of the industry were held.
Over 100 experts of scientific and engineering communities took part in the forum – among them are specialists of The Russian Academy of Sciences and The Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Russian and foreign research centers, universities of Tyumen.
A high level of the forum is confirmed by the fact that here ministers of natural resources of Russian and Belorussia, leaders of the oil & gas industry. While discussing, all the participants were forming the nearest future of one of Russia’s most significant industries.
